Celebrating Mexican Independence: A Tradition at Madison

On September 15, Madison International School, Mérida Campus, celebrated Mexico’s Independence Day with a traditional celebration that brought together students from Preschool through High School.

Madison International School, Campus Country Mérida, welcomed Peter Stoyle, a 91-year-old British educator who was involved in the early development of the International Baccalaureate (IB) and later played a significant role in its expansion throughout Latin America.

The 2026 International Baccalaureate (IB) Regional Conference brought together teachers and school administrators from eight countries in Mérida to strengthen educational practices through the exchange of experiences and professional development.
